Business Television, also known as BTV Business or BTV, is the first business television of Nepal. It is a private television station owned by the World Trade Group Nepal[1], one of the largest corporate houses in Nepal. BTV is located in Kathmandu, Nepal. The Executive Chairman is Shambhu Pokharel and Managing director is Karuna Kandel Pokharel. Business Television Nepal started its transmission and is licensed for terrestrial and satellite transmission. It is headquartered in Nepal has its footprint in over 120 countries.
BTV was initially uplinked via ABS-2, after that it moved to Asiasat, then it moved to Measat & then finally to Laosat.[2]
It serves News & programme in English & Nepali Language. It’s major area of focus is in business & market information, national and international news, banking, insurance and finance sectors.
